- Botsuana
- Eswatini
- Hongkong
- Israel
- Lesotho
- Mosambik
- Namibia
- Simbabwe
- Südafrika
Reisen Sie aus einem der aufgeführten Ländern in die Schweiz ein?
Dann müssen Sie folgendermassen vorgehen:
- Gehen Sie sofort nach der Einreise in Ihr Zuhause oder eine andere geeignete Unterkunft in Quarantäne. Sie müssen sich während 10 Tagen nach Ihrer Einreise ständig dort aufhalten.
- Melden Sie sich umgehend per E-Mail an corona.voc@be.ch und geben Sie Ihre Telefonnummer an. Der KAD wird sie kontaktieren.
- Diese Quarantäne gilt auch, wenn Sie geimpft oder genesen sind.
- Der KAD hat entschieden, dass diese Quarantäne nicht durch einen frühzeitigen Test beendet werden kann. Dies weil diese Variante als extrem besorgniserregend eingestuft wird.

Compulsory quarantine for people entering Switzerland from countries with the new variant of the Corona-Virus first detected in South Africa
Compulsory quarantine for people entering the country from countries with a variant of the virus of concern.
Quarantine is mandatory for persons who have been in a state or territory with a variant of the virus of concern at any time within the last 10 days before entering Switzerland (this is not just a recommendation).
List of states or areas with a variant of the virus of concern:
- Belgium
- Botswana
- Eswatini
- Hong Kong
- Israel
- Lesotho
- Mozambique
- Namibia
- Zimbabwe
- South Africa
Are you entering Switzerland from one of the countries listed? Then you must proceed as follows:
- Go into quarantine immediately after entering your home or other suitable accommodation.
- You must stay there permanently for 10 days after your entry.
- This quarantine applies even if you have been vaccinated or have recovered.
- Report immediately with your surname, first name, e-mail and mobile phone number to
- corona.voc@be.ch
- We will call you back.
The cantonal authorities have decided that this quarantine cannot be ended by an early test. This is because this variant is considered to be of extreme concern.
